This litany is highly revered within the esteemed Chishtiyyah Ṭarīqah (Chishtiyyah spiritual order). Known as the “Litany of the Sea,” Ḥizb al-Baḥr is unlike any other. At its core, it is a duʽā, a sacred gift from the unseen, and a treasure among the treasures of Allāh جل جلاله. Mujarrab (tried, tested, and affirmed) across generations of seekers, it stands as a beacon of Divine aid and elevation. Renowned for its unparalleled efficacy, it has become a daily practice among many ṭuruq (spiritual paths), embraced for its enduring spiritual power that manifests when recited with sincerity and adab (correct etiquette) under the guidance of one’s ṭarīqah.
