This litany holds immense effectiveness in protecting and fortifying individuals engaged in the struggle against addiction(s). It offers protection from the clutches of substance abuse, addiction and satanic influences, creating a dislike and disdain for sinful behaviour within the heart, allowing one to keep firm on their repentance, reducing and removing the urge. Moreover, it grants steadfastness in faith(Īmān), shields against all types of enemies and enables one to die upon faith. This litany is also particularly effective in countering and removing satanic whispers.

After every farḍ prayer, recite seven times:
ھُوَ اللہُ الرَّ حِیْـــمُ ؕ
Huwal-Lāhur-Raḥīm.
