This Qasīdah is a devotional ode dedicated to Sulṭān al-Hind, Khwājah Muʿīn al-Dīn Ḥasan Chishtī of Ajmer . Reciting it brings blessings, inner peace, and strengthens one’s spiritual bond with the great saint.
Before recitation, it is recommended to perform īsāl al-thawāb (conveying rewards) by reading Ṣalawāt, Sūrah al-Fātiḥah, and Sūrah al-Ikhlāṣ (three times), followed by Ṣalawāt again, and then dedicating the reward to the Shaykh.
The Qasīdah highlights his virtues, miracles, service to Islam, and his status as “the Saint of Hind.” It is especially beneficial when recited on the sixth night of each Islamic month, and particularly on the 6th of Rajab.
