Zakat, is one of the five pillars of Islam. For every sane, adult Muslim who owns wealth over a certain amount – known as the nisab – he or she must pay 2.5% of that wealth as Zakat. Every penny of your Zakat is used to help our brothers and sisters in need, across the Muslim world We have taken the time to ensure that all the Zakat we distribute is in accordance to the traditional rights of distribution. All the Zakat we collect and distribute is subject to a 100% donation policy; so every penny of your Zakat will get to the recipient inshallah.
True piety is this: to believe in God, and the Last Day, the Angels, the Book, and the Prophets, to give of one’s substance, however cherished, to kinsmen, and orphans, the needy, the traveler, beggars, and to ransom the slave, to perform the prayer, to pay the zakat.
