Allāhumma Ṣalli Wa Sallim Wa Bārik ‘Alā Sayyidinā Muḥammadi Nin-Nabiyyil-Ummiyyil-Ḥabībil ‘Ālil Qadril ‘Aẓīmil Jāhi Wa ‘Alā Ālihī Wa Ṣaḥbihī Wa Sallim
The exalted ṣalāt, ṣalāt al-Ālīy, holds remarkable significance for the one who recites it regularly, at least once every Thursday night.
This ṣalāt is a means of attracting and increasing the benevolent observation and favour of the beloved Prophet, Sayyidunā Rasūlullāh ﷺ upon the reciter. At the time of death, the reciters soul will find solace in the tender care of Sayyidunā Rasūlullāh ﷺ aswell as being granted the vision of the beloved, Sayyiduna Rasūlallāh ﷺ amongst many additional virtues.
Note; we use Thursday night to avoid confusion. ‘Ulamāʼ mention to recite this ṣalāt on Laylatul Jumu‘ah, which according to the Islamic night, falls between ṣalāt al-Maghrib on Thursday and ṣalāt al-Fajr on Friday.
